Three days of wine tasting, gourmet foods, great shopping and visiting with artists while enjoying their work. Friday night offers a Kick Off Party with food and wine pairing from five local wineries and restaurants along with live entertainment and preview of the event art show. FEBRUARY
Saturday morning begins with workshops taught by world class dance instructors. A variety of Western Dances, including the latest Western Line Dances, will be offered at both the Vets’ Hall and the Joslyn Center. The Saturday night dance begins at 7:00 pm with foot stomping music lasting until 11:00. Bring out your inner heehaw and join dancers from all over Central California. A night of fine dining, wine tasting, raffles and a silent auction. Scenes from past Parties Located in a historical Hearst Ranch Warehouse above San Simeon cove (courtesy of Hearst Ranch), you will dine on sustainable seafood and Hearst Ranch grass-fed beef,along with the opportunity to taste wines from the Central Coast.
The Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve are proud to present free docent guided walks along the Bluff Trail and in the Monterey Pine forest by naturalists, geologists and historians. The walks are a great opportunity to study wildflowers, understand the ecosystem of the forest, see marine animals, and view native birds.
APRIL
Cambria’s annual springtime kids’ free-for-all egg hunt for children 8 and younger begins at 8 a.m. sharp Easter Sunday. The event, sponsored by American Legion Post No. 432, is held on the lawn at Park Hill’s Shamel Park, between Windsor Boulevard and the shoreline. The day before children and adults can help dye and color eggs at the American Legion Hall at the back of the Veterans Memorial Building, 1000 Main St., Cambria.
The aroma of mouth-watering chili will draw you to the Pinedorado Grounds for the Annual Chili Cook-Off and Car Show. Chili tasters can enjoy hot cars as well as hot chili at this annual event where chili cooks and car owners compete for trophies and prizes. Music, prizes, entertainment, and great beers all add up to great fun for everyone. It’s all happening at the Veterans Memorial Hall and Pinedorado Grounds at the corner of Main Street and Cambria Road.
SCULPTURE BY THE SEA Annual show featuring stone, metal, clay and wood. An inspirational showcase of sculpture by artists participating in the 9th California Sculptors Symposium at beautiful Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria. The public also have a chance to visit and interact with the sculptors at work.

The Pinedorado Parade kicks off the Labor Day weekend festivities Saturday Morning. After the parade the Pinedorado grounds off Main Street, offer barbecues, kids games, prizes, face-painting, food booths, kiddie cars, an Art Show, and live music. The event runs the entire Labor Day Weekend. Don’t forget to stop off at our Wine and Beer Pub.

Now in its eleventh year, the Cambria Scarecrow Festival has grown into a community-wide event with hundreds of scarecrows bowling, bathing, painting, pedaling, fishing and flying through Cambria, San Simeon and Harmony. Over the years, the festival has grown into one of the most unique festivals of hand-crafted folk art in the U.S., drawing thousands of visitors from across the country. Cambria Octoberfest: October 19
Pinedorado Grounds, Cambria, CA • It’s a free day of family fun sponsored by the Lions Club of Cambria and the Cambria Scarecrow Festival. From 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, enjoy scarecrow fun, listen to live music, play games, shop at an arts and crafts fair, and check out our brats, beer and wine tents. Plus, don’t miss the announcement of the 2019 Scarecrow Festival award winners—live from the Pinedorado Stage at 11:30 am.
Pier to Point Kayak
Open water ocean course of six miles from San Simeon Pier to Leffingwell Landing. Kayak, Sufrski, Paddelboard, Stand Up Paddle, Outrigger Canoe sponsored by the North Coast Ocean Rescue and the Cambria Fire Department.
The 10th annual Pier to Point Fun Paddle and Ocean Race will be held on Saturday, the 7th of October. Free lunch will be provided for all participants and volunteers.
